UP FOR THE CUP

The Fantasy Cup is to be played as a straight knockout between teams.

The 1st Round will be played on F.A. Cup 3rd Round day.

The 2nd Round will be played on F.A. Cup 4th Round day.

The Semi-Finals will be played on F.A. Cup 5th Round day.

The Final will be played on F.A. Cup 6th Round day.

The draw for the Cup will normally be made at the Player Auction.

When there are an odd number of teams in the draw, one team will receive a bye into the next round.

All F.A. Cup games played during the week of each round of the Cup will count towards the final score.

If any tie is drawn then the following weeks’ Premier League games will be used for the Replay.

If the Replay is drawn then the tie will be scored using the League system, i.e. points, to decide the winner. There will be no 2nd Replays.

No team may have a minus score.

During the Semi-Finals and Final all teams will be considered to be Away teams.

Managers may select Players from their Squad and Reserves for all Cup matches.

A Goal will be scored in the Cup for each of the following:

Each Goal scored by one of your players

First 2 assists for a Home team

First 3 Assists for an Away team

Each subsequent 2 Assists for either team

A Goal will be awarded to the opposition for:

Each Own Goal scored by one of your players

Home teams. First 4 goals conceded by your Defenders and Goalkeeper, in total.

Away teams. First 3 goals conceded by your Defenders and Goalkeeper, in total.

Each subsequent 3 goals conceded by your Defenders and Goalkeeper for either team, in total.

A Goal will be subtracted from the opposition score:

The number of Clean Sheets for each side will be compared, the team with the greatest number will subtract the number from the other side.

The sum remaining shall be worth a goal subtracted from the opposition score for each  number of the sum.

Example: 3 Clean Sheets minus 1 Clean Sheet = sum of 2, therefore two Goals to be subtracted from the team with the lower number of Clean Sheets.

The team with the most ‘goals’ wins.
